The Falling Leaves Festival was founded in 1994 by then Grand Knight David Halata, Sr. to help the council through a financially tough period. With this event, the help of council officers and generous KC members, Council #2433 was able to recover financially and get back to dedicating itself to service and charity. Today, with the help of hard working parents and students, the Falling Leaves Event proceeds benefit local charities, including Sacred Heart School.
